Riding on its previous success, the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will jointly organise the third edition of the Belt and Road Summit on 28 June 2018 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Under the theme of “Collaborate for Success”, the Summit will be further enhanced with stronger business elements, highlighting the deeper and closer collaboration among businesses along the Belt and Road. The full-day programme will comprise a high-level symposium with a plenary session, a series of thematic breakout forums focusing on practical issues related to specific industries and markets, a keynote luncheon, as well as an investment and business matching session.
This year, the breakout forums will feature thematic and practical topics related to Belt and Road such as
- Chinese infrastructure investment trends and opportunities,
- digital Silk Road,
- infrastructure financing and risk management,
- cross-border transaction & contract issues from the legal perspective,
- arbitration & dispute resolution,
- young business leaders opportunities,
- And more…
The last edition of Belt and Road Summit attracted over 3,000 government officials and business leaders from some 50 countries and regions, who gathered to exchange views on the Belt and Road Initiative’s latest developments and the emerging opportunities for various sectors.
